I have this real cutie pie as the last of the red series this week, I did him around the same time that I did Ticky the clown and he is just too adorable not to share. Talking of Ticky. How cool is this. One of my Twitter friends, who writes a new piece of music a day, took my clown doodle and set him to music. I mean what an honor. My doodle has it’s own theme music. You have to check it out.
The site is called Ryan Houck’s music an here is a link Sketch 7: Ab for the Daily Doodle’s clown
Thank’s Ryan for sharing and setting my doodle to music.
Here’s today’s doodle:

Continuing with the touch of red series. I did this clown today. I am always amazed at how these doodles evolve. This one ddi not start off as a clown, but once I had the eyes and nose in place, there was the clown.
I hope you like this colorful fellow. Reminds of “Ticky” the clown I knew as a kid.

I am having so much fun meeting all these creative people of Twitter. It is is amazing. There is so much talent around that I am just astounded. So to all my new Friends, Fans and Followers, thank you for visiting the Daily and enjoying the doodles. For those of you that are not yet following on Twitter or Facebook, you are definitely missing a huge part of what makes the blog so special.
Here’s the doodle of Day 428. A continuation of the Red Lip Series. It wasn’t intentional to do a red lip series, but once I started it, I may as well continue.

The Red Lipped Doodle
I started this as just a one sided face, but then it evolved into what I now call “The Phantom” of the Opera that is. Not quite what Andrew lloyd Webber had in mind for Michael Crawford, but that is exactly what came to mind as I was drawing this.

The Phantom
I saw this painting online yesterday, that inspired me to take a different direction with my doodle drawing today. Someone on twitter asked how long it took to draw and actually the basic outline didn’t take long at all, less than half an hour. Then I spend time fine tuning it and here it is. Last night I quickly posted it on twitter via twitpic, but I wanted to add it to the blog as well.
Would love to hear what you all think.

I got chatting with this incredible artist/Caricaturist Shari Warren (who’s last name, is my first name) on Twitter. We got talking about Bravo TX and the various house wives shows. well one thing let to another and we challenged each other to draw one of the wives. Shari cam back with a really cool Danielle, which you can see here Shari Warren’s Danielle Drawing
Once Shari had posted heres the challenge was on and I had to get something posted this weekend. So I also decided to take on one of the NJ Housewives. We could pick from any of them. I then took on Jacqueline Laurita and here it is. I did Theresa as well, but hated the way she came out.
Here’s my housewisves of New Jesrey Doodle, and please visit Shari’s amazing blog at shariwarren.com

Today I received a beautiful pasily post-it note doodle from Cheryl. You may have seen her awesome work. I have a link to her site on my blog roll. but for those who haven’t here it is again called Journals & Sketchbooks Cheryl sent me this amazing post-it and I knew I had to get it up as soon as possible. Thanks Cheryl for sharing.
If any of you want to share your doodle creations, there is always a home for you on The Doodle Daily. I even have a separate category for guest doodlers. Hey if people can share 1 million giraffes around the world, they can definietly share their doodles too.
Enjoy and once again a big thanks to Cheryl.

I need to scan some of my latest doodle in…. So until then I thought I would throw in a couple of random drawings that I had not yet posted. This guy is simple, innocent, but I bet he’s hiding something.

Who Dat ?
and this one was a work doodle I did and then worked it into something floral.

Crash Aborted!
I am back up and running and able to post on a regular schedule and keep the streak alive. We will not miss a day. Yesterday, while I was down (at home) I was able to post a couple of twitpics of some post-it note doodles I had lying around the office. Then I realized I had scanned a while bunch a while back, so those became the segue to today’s doodle. It’s been a while since I did a series on post-it notes, so now is a good a time as ever.
These have always been a favorite of mine. It’s so easy, while you are on the phone at work to grab a post-it and start scribbling. Well those scribbles turned into doodles, which in turn found a life of their own online.
If you do a quick search for post-it on my blog, you will see the many others that I have done. Here is today’s series.

My computer at home is on strike! I cannot get the sucker to boot up. He has been well behaved now for months, ever since I gave him a full frontal lobotomy and replaced the hard drive. But just yesterday, he died and will not reboot. I get what I call the “black screen of death” where it tells you to reboot in Safe mode or last working configuration and you get that countdown to nothing…. well nothing is working it loops back to that screen.
What is this poor soul to do. I live by that guy.
Anyway nuff pouting, I will hav eto call in the troops to get him to work again. For now I can only post using twitpic (thank goodness for that) It doesn’t look as great on the site, but click on the image and you get a really nice picture of my work.
This was something I was working on in a meeting yesterday. It was unfinished, but at this stage of the game, it’s about as finished as it will get.
